Following the announcement of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 last week, pricing for the praised smartphone has been revealed… and its not cheap.
The massive phablet/smartphone is more than pricey. In fact, the Note 8 is Samsung’s most expensive phone ever, dwarfing the cost of the iPhone 7 Plus.
The Galaxy Note 8 starts at $930 USD — a huge price jump compared to the iPhone 7 Plus, which starts at $770. YIKES!
Still, the new Samsung is beautiful. It features dual cameras, a wide-angle camera and telephoto camera that gives you 2x optical zoom and is being called the best smartphone camera out yet. It also boasts a massive 6.3-inch edge-to-edge AMOLED Infinity display, as well as the S Pen.
Pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 have already begun in the U.S., with units to ship out on September 15th. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon and U.S. Cellular will sell it in two colors: Midnight Black and Orchid Gray.
