After dropping her Kanye West diss track “Look What You Made Me Do”, Taylor Swift stirred up things further by debuting the visual during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards.
The clip begins in a cemetery, where “Taylor Swift’s Reputation” lies underground, before cutting to her sitting at a throne and in a bathtub full of diamonds.
The symbolic visual also showcases snake imagery, while she plays different personas, including a dominatrix, a biker, and various versions of herself.
It also references Kanye West and Kim Kardashian. At one point in the video, Taylor claims to get “receipts” that she will edit, referencing a clip Kim released of her phone conversation with Kanye over his infamous Life of Pablo cut, “Famous”.
