12 years after Ages Of Empires III, Microsoft has finally confirmed the release of a sequel to the iconic strategy game saga: Age of Empires IV.
The software giant announced the news at Gamescom 2017 in Germany, via a cinematic trailer. It reveals that the upcoming installment will be optimized to run on Windows 10, with the highest level of graphics details and resolution, and likely in 4K.
So far, a release date has not been announced. But for now, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Age of Empires, Microsoft is set to launch Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, which remasters the 1990s classic.
