Xbox officially unveiled a special Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition console over the weekend… and they have already sold out pre-orders.

For those who haven’t heard, the console was made specifically for the biggest XBOX enthusiast and boasts true 4K gaming power, as well as upgrades above the standard Xbox One in almost every department.

There’s 12GB GDDR5 of graphic memory, adding speed and power to game performance to “enable bigger worlds, further horizons, and quicker load times,” says XBOX. In all, it has 40% more power than any other console.

After announcing Project Scorpio at E3 this summer, pre-orders officially launched this week… and so far as sold out in many many countries around the world.

“You, our biggest fans, have pre-ordered more Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition consoles in the first five days than any Xbox ever,” Xbox said in a blog post.

The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition lauches November 7th worldwide for $500 USD.

If you were unable to grab a pre-order, Xbox says don’t worry. They plan to announce details of the next wave of Xbox One X standard edition pre-orders in September. Stay tuned…
