Its been over three years since Jay-Z's infamous elevator altercation with is sister-in-law Solange... and he finally addressed the incident.

In a rare interview on the Rap Radar Podcast this week, the hip-hop mogul broke his silence.

"It ain't nothing," Jay said. "We had one disagreement... ever. Before and after, we've been cool."

"It's my sister. I will protect her... you know. ITS MY SISTER. Not my sister-in-law, not my ... no MY SISTER, period," he continued.

"I fought my brothers and argued with my brothers my whole life. It just so happens, who we are, these things go into a different space."

Aside from that, Jay-Z didn't get into the reason why the two got into an argument, but its rumored it was over Jay's alleged infidelity. He addresses this on the 4:44 track, "Kill Jay Z", when he raps: "You egged Solange on / Knowin' all along, all you had to say you was wrong / you almost went Eric Benet / Let the baddest girl in the world get away."
