Fresh off the release of her sophomore album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom, Halsey graces the cover of Playboy for the mag’s September/October 2017 Music Issue.
In addition to a photo shoot and the cover, the pop star also sits down for an interview, where Playboy says “no topic is off limits”. She answers Playboy’s 20Qs, discussing race, reproductive freedom, being emotionally invested in her fans, and of course, her album.
“I’ve always collected vintage Playboy issues. 5 feet from my bed there’s a 4-foot canvas of a 1971 vintage cover that I wake up to every single day,” said Halsey. “It’s truly an honor to be featured on the cover of a magazine that has always been the embodiment of sensuality, intelligence, humor and class.”
The new Playboy Music issue also includes features on Jhené Aiko, Chicago rapper Vic Mensa, and more.
