YG was involved in a standoff with police in Los Angeles this past week, after he refused to exit his vehicle.

According to TMZ, the Compton rapper was driving his Mercedes-Maybach in Burbank, Calif. on Wednesday night (Aug. 9), when police pulled him over for tinted windows.

Police said they asked him for his driver’s license and registration … and that’s when things went left. Apparently, YG told them “No”. When they asked him to exit his vehicle, he replied “No”.

The rapper told police he didn’t trust them and was afraid if he exited his vehicle, police would hurt him.

Several patrol cars arrived after officers called for backup and YG eventually got out out. However, he had no I.D.

YG was cited for having no ID, tinted windows and no license plates.
