New York rap veteran Drag-On ended up in the ER last week, after struggling to catch his breath during an outdoor concert in Atlantic City.

TMZ published video of the rapper going into the crowd to perform, but before that, he complained that he had shortness of breath because he had been smoking weed. While he attempted to rap a bit anyway, it didn’t end well.

Drag-On tried to make it back to the stage, but fell to the ground where medics came to his aid. He was ultimately carted away in an ambulance.

The rapper tells TMZ he was dehydrated after a long night working in the studio and got light-headed during the show. He was given fluids … and now he’s fine.

Drag-On is best known as a member of Ruff Ryders back in the early 2000s. His 2000 debut, Opposite of H20, peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
