Jim Carrey has entertained his for decades in his acting career, but apparently, he’s an avid artist… which he chronicles in this new documentary, titled I Needed Color.
The 55-year-old actor has been drawing since he was a child, but in 2011, while dealing with some deeply-rooted personal issues, he picked up a paintbrush.
In I Needed Color, Carrey delves into his pastime as a an artist.
“I like the independence of it. I love the freedom of it,” Carrey explains. “No one else tells you what you can or can’t do, most of the time. And there’s an immediacy to it.”
