Despite once being close, Wiz Khalifa’s mother has filed a defamation lawsuit against Amber Rose over an alleged phone call she made to a third party.
According to the Observer-Reporter, Katie “Peachie” Wimbush-Polk claims Rose called a phone that is linked to her account and made profane remarks against her to a 5-year-old who answered the phone.
The report says a friend of Wiz’s mother, Danesa Letic, had the phone at the time of the call and her niece answered, when Rose (born Amber Rose Levonchuck) immediately “launched into a profane attack,” said the lawsuit. The little girl gave the phone to her aunt, who eventually was able to identify herself. However, even after knowing she was speaking with a third party, Rose alleged Wimbush-Polk had allowed her own child, Dorien, to die and she was unfit to visit or care for Amber and Wiz Khalifa’s 4-year-old son, Sebastian.
Wiz’s sister, Dorien Thomaz, died Feb. 20, 2017, of complications from lymphoma.
Apparently, Rose was upset that Wimbush-Polk made a report to California child welfare services, which reportedly visited Amber on June 19.
Wimbush-Polk is suing Amber, claiming her remarks were meant to be malicious and harmful to her reputation. She is seeking $50,000 in damages, legal costs, and interest.
Rose has not responded to the suit and Wiz Khalifa has not addressed it publicly.
