HUF Links With Japan’s JBS For Jazz Cafe-Inspired Capsule

By Staff  |  08/01/2017

Skate brand HUF links with Kobayashi-san, founder of Japan-based bar JBS, for this limited edition collaboration.

Established 2002 in Shibuya, as a modern take on the traditional jazz café -- and an extension of Mr. Kobayashi’s 14,000+ count Jazz, Blues & Soul vinyl record collection now adorning the bar’s walls -- JBS has become a cultural institution that caters to a wide range of fashion and music-industry icons.

As his first-ever apparel collaboration, the HUF x Kobayashi "KHUF" acronym is inspired by vintage radio iconography symbolizing the partnership.

The collection consists of a tee, 6-panel hat, vinyl record-sized tote bag, glass ash-tray, cast-iron plier bottle opener, and a custom bar-apron modeled after Kobayashi himself.

The HUF x Kobayashi capsule is available now, exclusively at HUF’s flagship locations in Los Angeles, New York City, Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.
