Celebrities and influencers have been given yet another way to find love. It’s called Loveflutter, an invite-only dating app for well-known people on social media.
The app caters exclusively to verified Twitter users — which comes out to around 150,000 accounts, according to a 2015 report. However, this came before Twitter opened its verification process to the public.
Loveflutter says by making their service only available to verified accounts, it protects its users against catfishing.
The service has rolled out in San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, London and Tokyo, but the service only opens up in areas until 1,000 local members are available.
Loveflutter’s mission is “to turn ubiquitous flirting on Twitter into something real.
