Following accusations of an abusive “cult” preying on young women, R. Kelly is denying it all.

Buzzfeed published a story early Monday morning (July 17) that paints a very dark picture of the singer’s life behind the scenes, where he lives with a stable of young women, whom he controls and treats as sex slaves.

Since the report went viral, a rep for Kelly has come forward with a statement, via TMZ. “Mr. Robert Kelly is both alarmed and disturbed by the recent revelations attributed to him. Mr. Kelly unequivocally denies such accusations and will work diligently and forcibly to pursue his accusers and clear his name,” the statement reads.

The Buzzfeed report says Kelly has six women living with him in his Chicago and Georgia properties, controlling their lives — including what they eat, how they dress and their sexual encounters.

Apparently, police in Georgia and Illinois conducted welfare checks for one of the women… after her parents said she was being held against her will. However, the woman authorities she was just fine and “did not want to be bothered with her parents because her father was threatening people.”
