If you missed it, Homer Simpson was officially "inducted" into the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York back in May, as part of the 25th anniversary of the classic episode of The Simpsons, "Homer at the Bat."

Aired in Feb. 1992, the episode featured guest appearances by MLB all-stars like Ozzie Smith, Ken Griffey Jr., Wade Boggs, Don Mattingly and Jose Canseco.

So, how did Homer get to Cooperstown? Well, ESPN put together a short documentary breaking down Homer's journey to the Hall of Fame.

The clip features behind-the-scenes tales and interviews from Simpsons writers, as well as ball players like Boggs, Ozzie and Sax.
