Prodigy Honored With Mural in Queensbridge

Mobb Deep's Prodigy was one of the most respected figures in hip-hop and firmly cemented his place in the genre's history, as evident by the number of tributes we've seen since his death.

Most recently, two artists in New York City honored the late rapper with a striking mural around the Queensbridge Houses in his hometown Queens, NYC.

Artists Eli Lazare and Jeff Henriquez painted the above mural, which they shared on Instagram this past week.

According to Pigeons & Planes, the two artists were not paid, but instead painted the piece out of respect for the hip-hop legend.

Prodigy died last month, after suffering complications related to his sickle-cell anemia.
