The hype surrounding Lonzo Ball has led to Las Vegas Summer League history, with the Lakers game against the Celtics on Saturday (July 8) selling out.
According to ESPN, this is the first time in the 14 years that an entire day session at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion for the NBA Summer League has sold out tickets in advance.
General admission sold for $30, but have since hit ticket resale sites for $250 each.
The venue’s capacity is around 15,000, with Cox holding another 2,500. The most expensive seat (courtside) sells for $400, but a pair of VIP courtside tickets to the Saturday game sold for $5,150 on StubHub.
The Lakers-Celtics Summer League game will be televised on ESPN at 8:30 ET.
