The Denver Nuggets have landed a piece to build around, with Paul Millsap agreeing to a three-year, $90 million contract, reports ESPN. It also includes a team option on the third year.
In the past four seasons, the 32-year-old has made the All-Star team in each. He also averaged 18.1 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game last season for the Atlanta Hawks.
The Nuggets hope Millsap can help them reach the playoffs due to his strong play on both sides of the court, after they missed the postseason in the past three seasons.
The team has been searching for a star to pair with their young group of developing players. Pairing Millsap with rising center Nikola Jokic could make for one of the best frontcourts int he league.
What do you think? Will the Nuggets make a run next season?
