Legendary hip-hop group, Public Enemy, surprised fans with a brand new album on Thursday (June 29), titled Nothing Is Quick in the Desert.

The free album, which the group dropped on Bandcamp, features 13 new tracks, with titles like "Exit Your Mind", "Terrorwrist", "Toxic" and "Sells Like Teens Hear It", among others.

Another notable track is "Rest in Beats (Part 1 & 2)", which pays tribute to a number of late artists in both hip-hop and R&B.

"WE thank you & THIS is on US," Chuck D wrote in a Twitter post.

Nothing Is Quick in the Desert is Public Enemy's first new record since 2015's Man Plans God Laughs. Since then, members Chuck D and DJ Lord joined the rock/rap supergroup Prophets of Rage alongside members of Rage Against the Machine and Cypress Hill.
