Following the success of the Nintendo NES Classic last fall, Nintendo is dropping yet another reboot.
This week, the company announced that it will bring back what they call “the golden age of 16-bit gaming”, with the upcoming release of the Super Nintendo Classic Edition.
Like the NES Classic, the Super Nintendo Classic comes in a compact, hand-sized version. It also comes loaded with 21 classic games — including Super Mario World, Super Mario Kart, F-Zero, Super Metroid and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

Additionally, Nintendo is releasing the previously unreleased title, Starfox 2.
“The Super NES Classic Edition system has the original look and feel of the ’90s home console, only smaller,” says Nintendo.
The Super Nintendo Classic Edition releases September 29 for $79.99 USD. For more info, visit Nintendo’s website here.
