Desiigner shot to stardom in 2015, when his single “Panda” became a smash hit.

Despite the success, the New York rapper has received a bit of criticism that he sounds too close to Future… and apparently, the ATL rapper agrees.

In an interview in DJ Booth, Menace — the producer behind “Panda” — claims that Future has filed a copyright infringement claim against the song.

“There was a situation with Future putting [an infringement] claim in because, apparently, he said that ‘Panda’ sounded like ‘F*ck Up Some Commas.’ We were just about to see the checks, but there’s been a lot of delays so we won’t see anything until next year anyway. The problem is that once someone puts a claim in, it just stops everything,” he said.

Despite the claim, a rep for Future told VIBE that its simply “not true.”

Whether or not, the lawsuit is true, you can listen to both songs below and tell us what you think.
