Chance the Rapper’s mainstream appeal is becoming more and more evident to major brands… just ask Twitter.
The social media platform recently tapped the Chicago rapper for their new TV ad. Yep, Chance appears in a the company’s new commercial, which begins with him onstage during soundcheck, befor he hops on Twitter to ask fans if they have any requests for his show that night.
From there, it shifts the focus to different fans from different walks of life, all of which sent Chance their requests.
“Chance’s authentic use of Twitter is powerful as is his fandom and the conversation that surrounds him,” said Twitter CMO Leslie Berland. “We spotlight the voices of fans, press, influencers and artists—every side of the conversation—at the speed of Twitter.”
