Chris Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran, appeared in court on Thursday (June 15) and took the stand in her restraining order case against the singer.
After her testimony, the judge sided with her, granting a restraining order against Brown for the next five years, reports TMZ.
During the hearing, Karrueche talked about a number of alleged incidents between her and Chris, including threatening texts, harassment on social media, and demands that she return jewelry he had gifted her.
She told the judge Brown became aggressive after she refused to return diamonds rings he bought her after they broke up, and even threatened her with violence. She claims he texted her messages like, “I can get my money back and I’m tired of playing games”, “Bitch I will beat the sh*t out of you”, and “I promise you I will make your life hell.”
Karrueche also brought up an incident on social media, where she says Brown wrote “Imma kill blood” under a photo of her and actor Michael B. Jordan on Instagram.
She also testified that Brown physically abused her in the past.
Under cross-examination, Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos pressed her about the jewelry, while also asking why she never reported the alleged behavior to authorities, prior to her recent case.
Brown was not in court during the hearing.
