LaVar Ball autographed trading cards

Lonzo Ball’s controversial father LaVar is not a professional athlete, but his outrageous comments has made him a recognizable figure in sports.

His newfound fame helped him landed a deal with Leaf Trading Cards for a limited number of signed trading cards, reports ESPN. Terms of LaVar’s deal were not disclosed.

“This wasn’t all about the money. I think it’s cool to have a card,” he said.

200 cards were auctioned off on eBay on Wednesday (June 14), selling out in just one minute at $59.99 a pop.

Each card is hand-signed with a number of Ball’s infamous sayings, including “$495 ain’t enough,” “If you can’t afford the ZO2’s, you’re not a big baller,” and “$1 billion was a discount”.

Some of the best, however, say: “Lonzo better than Steph Curry!” and “Stick to the donuts, Chuck!” LOL!

If you browse eBay now, cards are listed for as much as $1,000 USD.
