Following months of teasers, Microsoft officiall unveiled its Xbox One X at an E3 2017 conference over the weekend.
Previously referred to as “Project Scorpio”, the new console is billed as “the most powerful console ever”, thanks to a whopping six teraflops of graphics power — more than the PS4 Pro, which pushes 4.2 teraflops.
Additionally, the Xbox One X is the smallest Xbox ever. Other features include a custom GPU engine runs at 1172MHz, an Ultra HD Blu-Ray drive for 4K movies and entertainment, a standard 1TB of storage and liquid-cooled vapor-chamber cooling, which is normally reserved for high-end PC gaming.
It will also incluee “console launch exclusives” such as Crackdown 3, Forza Motorsport 7, and Sea of Thieves.
The Xbox One X launches on November 7 worldwide for $499 USD.
