On Thursday (June 8), a report from the L.A. Times claimed that talks for the Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor superfight have begun… and UFC president Dana White is not involved.

The report says that talks are underway between the UFC ownership group (Ari Emanuel’s Beverly Hills agency WME-IMG) and Mayweather’s manager Al Haymon, while adding that White is out.

Well, Dana White is calling bullsh*t.

A TMZ cameraman caught up with the UFC boss at Mastro’s in Beverly Hills on Thursday night, and asked him about the report. “We live in a world right now, where you can’t believe anything you read,” White said. “When the L.A. Times is putting out… Who else would be running the Mayweather-McGregor deal, but me?”

“Trust me, I’m running the Mayweather-McGregor deal. I’m the only in on it, he added.

When asked about where the deal is at, White replied, “When I know, you’ll know.”

According to the L.A. Times, the PPV fight is expected in “early fall”. Stay tuned…
