After his appearance on Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther is getting his own standalone movie from Marvel Studios… who teases the first poster.

The image finds actor Chadwick Boseman in his Black Panther suit (sans the mask), sitting at a unique black throne.

Black Panther follows T’Challa who returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda.

But, when a powerful old enemy reappears, he is tested and drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda — and the entire world — at risk.

Black Panther also stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. It hits theaters Feb. 16, 2018.

The first teaser trailer will debut during Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday night (June 9).
