New York rapper K2 Cocky takes his experiences coming from the state’s mental health group home system, and channels it into his new mixtape.
The project, titled Mental TRILLness Vol. 1, consists of 16 solo cuts, with the rapper challenging traditional stereotypes by offering a unique combination of weirdo, horrorcore, trap and even LGBTQ content matter.
K2 calls the effort “a ferocious in-your-face mixtape sure to cause controversy and make noise.”
