Kathy Griffin Apologizes For Beheaded Trump Photo

Comedian Kathy Griffin is now apologizing, after stirring up controversy with a photoshoot of her beheading President Donald Trump.

The 56-year-old comedienne shot a graphic photo with Tyler Shields, which finds her holding up the bloodied head of Trump.

Following the internet’s reaction, Griffin has backpedaled, releasing an apology in a video released on her Twitter profile, where she vows to remove the image from the internet.

“I moved the line, and then I crossed it. I went way too far. The image is too disturbing. I understand how it offends people,” she says.

“I made a mistake and I was wrong,” Griffin concluded.
