Drake continues his run of success. On Sunday (May 21), the rapper took home a record-breaking 13 trophies  at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards.

The rapper took home the Top Artist award, as well as wins in categories like Top Male Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Rap Artist, and Top Rap Tour.

The 13 wins breaks the previous record of 12, held by Adele, who he mentioned after winning Top Artist. “Hold tight, Adele. When the new ting drops, you’ll get the record back.”

Drake also won Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Rap Album for his album VIEWS, while his smash single “One Dance” helped him nab Top Streaming Song, Top R&B Song, and Top R&B Collaboration.

During one of his acceptance speeches, he called Lil Wayne “the man responsible for me being here” and Nicki Minaj as “the love” of his life. His final words were: “Life is like toilet paper. Either you’re on a roll or you’re taking sh*t from some a**hole.”
