Retron HD Nintendo NES

Following the madness of the Nintendo NES Classic last fall, which were appearing on eBay for as much as $25K, a company called Hyperkin has rolled out the next best thing.

The California company has introduced the Retron HD, a video console that allows gamers to play 8-bit classics from the iconic Nintendo NES.

As you can see, it sports a design similar to the original, is compatible with original NES cartridges, including NTSC and PAL versions, and games are displayed in a 720p resolution. It also comes with a controller with a 10-foot cord, an HD cable, and a micro USB charge cable.

The Hyperkin Retron HD is available now at Hyperkin’s website for $40 USD, with orders shipping May 25.
