BMW unveiled this week the new “M Performance Edition” of its M240i model.

With the special edition, BMW M is now launching a special series with the intent to offer its customers the opportunity to customize their cars according to their preferences.

This “M Performance Edition” features a number of high-grade exterior upgrades from the M Performance accessory program ex works, including carbon fiber or black detailing for contrast to the Alpine White paint job.

There’s 19-inch, double-spoke light alloy wheels, which are finished in bicolor Orbit Grey and have a diamond polished visible side. There’s also distinctive air guides, an upgraded splitter and bumper front section, as well as a spoiler lip is finished in matt black. The kidney grille is finished in black, while carbon-fiber rear spoiler offers a sportier appeal.

Underneath the hood, it’s powered by a 340 hp inline 6-cylinder engine, with M Performance TwinPower Turbo Technology, which can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed Steptronic sports transmission. Along with all-wheel drive, the M240i can speed from zero to 100 km/h in only 4.4 seconds, while topping out at 250 km/h.

The BMW M240i M Performance Edition is limited to 750 units and will be available from July 2017.
