Jordan Brand takes things all the back to Michael Jordan’s performance during the 1985-86 season, with the Air Jordan 1 “Wings”.
Paying tribute to the season, in which MJ returned from a foot injury and led the Chicago Bulls to the NBA playoffs while averaging 43.7 points, though they ultimately lost to the Boston Celtics.
The sneaker sports an antiqued gold-colored upper, while sporting “WINGS” branding on the tongue and translucent sole underneath. There’s also individual numbering on the inside of the tongue.
The Air Jordan 1 “Wings” launches May 17 at select retailers and online for $200 USD.
