In early 2016, rumors surfaced of a potential collaboration between IKEA and Kanye West, after the rapper was spotted touring the company’s flagship in Sweden.
Obviously, nothing ever materialized, but sneaker customizer Mache took it upon himself to imagine what a Kanye x IKEA collaboration might look like… using a pair of Adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2’s.
Taking the cream colorway, Mache brought to life a custom blue and yellow version, emblazoned with the IKEA logo on the lateral side of the shoe.
After finishing them, he took the completed pair to his local IKEA superstore to shoot them in the shots above.

Well I destroyed my cream white Yeezys so what better way to salvage them then to give in and hop on the IKEA wave lol. Even though this type of custom was inevitable I had seen the @brucehatoo photoshop floating around so I wanted to give the man some props as well. This was meant to be corny and fun, it was a nice break from being serious all the time lol. #ikea #yeezy #custom #nicekicks #complexkicks #hypebeast
