After unveiling their 2017 Hip-Hop Cash Princes list in March, Forbes returns with this year’s “Forbes Five.”
Breaking down hip-hop’s wealthiest artists, the list is made up of the usual suspects… with Diddy topping the list with a reported net worth of $820 million. His portfolio includes a lucrative deal with Diageo for Ciroc, as well as stakes in REVOLT TV, alkaline water brand Aquahydrate and DeLeon tequila.
Jay Z is right behind him, with a net worth of $810 million. thanks to his stake in TIDAL, Armand de Brignac champagne and his Roc Nation empire.
Dr. Dre follows with $740 million, then Birdman with $110 million, and finally, Drake at $90 million.
