Big Sean shines offers a power video to his Jeremih-assisted album cut, “Light”, off his new album I Decided.

In the Lawrence Lamont-directed clip, the Detroit rapper takes a number of issues plaguing our nation, from police brutality and discrimination, to gang violence, telling multiple stories throughout.

It begins with Sean riding around in a white van, before a drive-by takes place and a little girl gets caught in the crossfire. Sean shows up and she hops into his white van. Later, two unarmed young black men are shot by the police, while in a separate incident a woman wearing a hijab is stabbed in a hate crime.

By the end of the video, all the victims emerge from the white van and are lifted into the sky, alongside Sean, who is apparently an angel bringing them to heaven.

Sean’s I Decided album is available now.
