Veteran rap personality Funkmaster Flex is back at it, disrespecting late rap icon Tupac Shakur.

Flex took to Instagram Live this week to discuss Tupac's infamous 1994 shooting at NYC's Quad Studios, where he mocked the rapper over rumors that he shot himself by accident during the incident.

"You ‘Pac fans always talking that talk," he said on IG. "Cheddar Bob. Came in there, popped himself in the leg. Popped himself first. That’s what happened."

"He knew who approached him," Flex added. "He had a steel on him, ’cause he knew he had a issue out there, and when get got there, they was just gonna take his jewelry. They didn’t even touch him. He panicked, pulled out the steel, shot himself."

The Quad Studios shooting was a turning point in Tupac's life. In the aftermath, he became entrenched in a much-publicized war with former friend, the Notorious B.I.G., and Bad Boy Records label head Puff Daddy.

Since then, incarcerated music industry veteran Jimmy Henchman confessed to his involvement in the shooting in 2012.

This is the first time Flex publicly dissed Tupac. Back in 2010, he went on a rant onstage in NYC, during which he screamed "F*ck Tupac", while praising Biggie.

Tupac's story is set to be told in the long-talked about biopic, All Eyez On Me, set to hit theaters in June.
