Floyd Mayweather sure knows how to hype a fight.

While he downplays a megafight with Conor McGregor with “if it happens” — we know it’s being talked about behind the scenes — the boxing star continues to build excitement.

In a recent interview with TMZ, Floyd praised the MMA star, admitting that his stand-up striking is likely up to par… and given that his aged, he may have a shot.

“I’ve been off for a couple years and I’m 40 years old now. So, I’m a lot older and he’s still in his 20s and I’m in my 40s now. So that could play a major key, we don’t know. And he’s a heavy hitter,” he said.

“Does he have a good chance of upsetting Floyd Mayweather? I can’t say, but anything can happen in the sport of boxing.”

The way Floyd puts it, we can’t wait to see it happen. So far, there’s no timeframe of when that will be, but we’re sure everyone’s gonna tune when it does.
