Tesla founder Elon Musk said months ago that he was planning on digging tunnels throughout Los Angeles to solve the city’s infamous traffic epidemic.
Via The Boring Company, he wants to build futuristic underground roadway systems beneath the country’s biggest cities, but not until today, did we know how it would work.
In a video uploaded to Youtube this week, he showcased the process. In it, we see that a vehicle would land in a special parking spot, where they are lowered into an underground shaft. From there, the car remains on a platform and is shuttled into a tunnel at speeds of up to 124 mph and to your destination.
Woah! Can Musk solve traffic problems?
