Barack Obama took a shot at his successor, President Donald Trump, this week… for the first time since he was sworn into office in January.
During an interview with Doris Kearns Goodwin, at an advertising event for the A&E, the former President was asked about how he handled frustrating moments while in the Oval Office.
“For starters, by not having a Twitter account,” Obama replied, reports TMZ, referring to Trump’s consistent rants on the social network.
According the New York Post, Obama earned $400,000 for the appearance, the same fee he was paid for a September speech at a Wall Street bank-sponsored healthcare event. He’s also slated to make another $400K at an upcoming Health conference by Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald.
