Kodak Black was found guilty in court this week of violating the terms of his house arrest.
The 19-year-old rapper (born Dieuson Octave) appeared in a Fort Lauderdale, FL courtroom on Wednesday (Apr. 26), where Judge Michael Lynch ruled that he violated his house arrest by failing to complete a court-mandated anger management program and leaving his home without authorization.
In the past three months — since his release from jail in December — he visited a Miami-Dade strip club and an Adrien Broner fight in Ohio, among other places… without authorization from his probation officer.
According to the Sun Sentinel, Kodak could face several years in prison, or as little as time served. Prosecutors want the lengthier sentence.
He has a hearing on May 4, where a decision will be made by the judge.
Also, the rapper is enjoying success with his debut album Painting Pictures, which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 earlier this month. It also spawned the top 10 hit “Tunnel Vision.”
