With President Trump’s 100th day in office, the POTUS is experiencing slumping approval rates, according to polls published during the weekend.

According to date by the ABC News, just 42 percent of Americans approve of Trump since taking approved, while 53 percent don’t — the lowest approval rating at this point of any president since 1945.

In a poll by the NBC News, Trump’s approval rating sits at just 40 percent, down from data collected in February.

Usually, the 100-day mark is a high point for presidents, with approval ratings falling in the months after the 100-way mark. Not Trump though.

Comparing Trump’s numbers to former President Barack Obama’s ratings, Obama had a 69 percent approval (26 percent disapproval) at the same point during his first term.

On Sunday afternoon (April 23), President Trump responded to the polls via Twitter.
