Big Boi is prepping a new solo album, titled Boomiverse.
One half of the legendary Outkast took to social media on Thursday (April 20) to announce the upcoming album, which follows his 2012 project Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.
Big Boi kicked things off with the release of two new singles — “Mic Jack” featuring Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, which is set to premiere on Beats 1; and the Killer Mike and Jeezy-assist “Kill Jill”, dropping in the evening.
Beyond the aforementioned artists, Boomiverse will also feature appearances from Gucci Mane, CeeLo Green, and unreleased vocals from the late great Pimp C.
On production, Big Boi tapped Dr. Luke, Scott Storch, DJ Dahi, and Organized Noize.
Big Boi”s Boomiverse is due in June.
