Mysonne appeared on The Breakfast Club this week, where he discussed his recent resurgence in music, his backstory, and of course, Troy Ave.

During the interview, the New York rapper tells the story of his rap career. If you’re not familiar with him, he was buzzing in the late 1990s and eventually signed with Def Jam, before going away on a seven-year prison bid for a pair of robberies he says he had nothing to do with.

The incarceration derailed his career, taking him all this time to just get things on track. In recent months, Mysonne’s name has begun buzzing again, thanks to his influx of freestyles online.

Later, he discusses his issues with Troy Ave, and why he recently called him “a bozo”, after his recent Breakfast Club interview.
