Following his recent induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Tupac is slated to be immortalized with a massive statue in Georgia.
According to TMZ, artist Nijel Binns has been tapped to create a 7-foot bronze statue of the the late Tupac Shakur, which will cost more than $500,000 USD to make.
Jim Burnett, who owns an amphitheater formerly known as the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts, hired Binns to craft the statue, which will replace the old one (once vandalized in 2007) Pac’s family took with them when they sold the Center in 2015.
Burnett is planning to unveil the new statue in September, around the 21st anniversary of Tupac’s death.
