On “The Heart Part 4”, Kendrick Lamar referenced April 7, leading many to believe it was the release day for his new album.

“You know what time it is / Ante up, this is here forever / Y’all got ’til April the 7th to get y’all sh*t together,” he raps on the song.

Well, Kendrick has finally clarified what the date means: the announcement of his new album. The release date is set for April 14.

The yet-to-be-titled project is officially available for pre-order at iTunes.

While the Compton rapper has yet to reveal a title, tracklist or cover, we do know it will feature 14 songs, including the Mike WiLL Made-It-produced single “Humble”.

Stay tuned for more info about the album. For now, you check check out “Humble” here, and “The Heart Part 4” here.

Kendrick is also to headline Coachella later this month, where he’ll likely perform new material for the first time.
