Actor/comedian Don Rickles has died at the age 90.
His longtime publicist and friend, Paul Shefrin, said Rickles died from kidney failure at his Los Angeles home on Thursday (April 6).
For more than 50 years, the comedian — who also went by “Mr. Warmth” — headlined shows around the country with his trademark brand of insult humor aimed at everyone in his audience. Even into his 80s, he did shows at casinos and nightclubs, spanning from Las Vegas to Atlantic City.
Aside from stand-up, Rickles appeared in a number of movies TV shows throughout the years, including 1995’s classic mob film Casino, The Twilight Zone, The Beverly Hillbillies, and even voiced Mr. Potato Head in Pixar’s Toy Story franchise.
