Netflix delivered a mysterious teaser clip on Youtube this week, with a sly title called “Midland Circle Security Elevator B”. But, if you’re paying attention, the people featured in it are the four lead characters from Marvel’s The Defenders.
We see Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage and Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist all sitting in an elevator.
If you’re really looking at the details in the clip, it appears that Netflix has confirmed the premiere date. In it, Jones looks around and spots the security camera and just as she knocks it out, the timestamp stops exactly at 08:18:20:17, or, August 18, 2017.
Also, if you check out the IP URL in the left corner, it’s actually a real website: http://23.253.120.81. It’s filled with Defenders content, so check it out.
