Following the success of Narcos, Netflix has teamed up with Univision to produce an original series called El Chapo.
The upcoming show, titled simply El Chapo, tells the story of the Mexican drug lord Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, while marking the first joint project between Netflix and the Spanish-language broadcasting network.
In the teaser, we see a glimpse of the show’s highlights, filled with footage of briefcases of cash, guns, fast cars, and women. El Chapo is at the center of it all, of course.
The first episodes are set to release on Univision before launching on Netflix.
El Chapo premieres on Univision on April 23.
