The Story Behind WorldStarHipHop

Nearly two months after his sudden passing, further details about the death of founder Q (born Lee O’Denat) have emerged.

According to the L.A. Times, the 43-year-old died of natural causes.

An autopsy report found that Q had a severe buildup of plaque in his cardiovascular system as well a metal stent near his right coronary artery. Investigators identified morbid obesity as a contributing factor.

Q, who weighed 345 pounds, also had an enlarged liver and fatty liver disease.

The Times report says Q was a walk-in customer at VIP Spa in San Diego, Calif. on Jan. 23. After a 30-minute massage, the masseuse stepped out of the room, so he could get dressed. But, when she returned five minutes later, he was standing slumped forward, with his forehead resting against the wall.

Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after, but he was pronounced dead.

Q was survived by three children, according to the report.
