DC Shoes has teamed up with London skate shop Slam City Skates for a limited capsule collection for Spring 2017.
The brands launched the collection with a celebration in London over the weekend, with an exclusive photo show, shot and curated by Mike Blabac.
There, fans were able to get a first look at the Slam City Skates x DC collection, which pays homage to both brands’ heritage in skateboarding. Pieces include co-branded apparel pieces, footwear and accessories, with an ’86 design seen throughout, which represents the year Slam City Skates was founded.
At the center of the drop is a collaborative version of DC’s all-new Kalis Lite Slim — a reinterpretation of the original Kalis shoe, which boasts DC’s lightweight technologies, classic gillie lacing system and Josh Kalis branding. Apparel includes co-branded long sleeves and short sleeves tees, a color-blocked pullover windbreaker, “Carry All” skate pack and snapbacks.
The Slam City Skates x DC capsule collection is available now online and select retailers.
